I was a over the road truck driver before ExpressJet. I put 1000% of my eggs into a basket of getting out of driving a truck. I did everything illegal I drove twice the ammount allowed and I studied when I was supposed to sleep, all just t finish my rating and pay for them. Because simply I had no other means of education. some days i drove for 48 hours straingt just to get to my home airport to get some flying. And I did as a part 61 student i finishe 6 ratings in lessthen a year. Then instructed for 4 months and went to XJT.
Did you tell this story during your interview, because you seem very proud of it? A true professional finds a way to get it done without breaking the rules. I could care less if you worked at GoJet or any other carrier. What does concern me is your obvious disregard for rules and regulations. Makes me wonder what you would do to get ahead at the airline. Your managements ******* Dream! A pilot who will hang his own *** out to dry, for some personal benefit. If Gojet is as bad as they say it is, then you belong there.
