Oh I agree. My fiance and I were just talking about that. It seems like they shoot down anything brought up by the union/pilots. My question is (not trying to turn this into an over 60 thread) why didn't the company try to get rid of the over 60 guys before age 65 legislation came along. Everybody saw it coming and they had all these excess FE positions. They could have gotten rid of a lot of highly paid employees a long time ago and "saving money" would not be an issue right now.
Because they had senior managers over 60 too...
