I almost hate to dignify your reply with a response but ... I'm taking a 6 hour pay hit with 4.a.2.b (6 x 238/hr = $1428/mo. That's more than $17,000/yr!). Maybe unlike many at FedEx, I've been furloughed. You've got a lot of nerve telling me about how some will be taking a 100% pay hit. Fortunately, I had a working wife, I was still in the Reserves and I had marketable job skills and I was able to land a VERY GOOD non flying job ... I was lucky.

It's thanks to guys like me that you're not living in a cardboard box under a bridge right now, telling your mentally ill buds how you used to be an airline pilot. I ALWAYS buy the first round of beers ... rest assured, if I can figure out who you are, you'll be eating alone.
