But leading up to it, i get the butterflies-in-my-stomach feeling. I've been around GA aircraft and the airline industry itself my entire life, so why in the world do I feel this way? What can I do to stop feeling like this? Is this an indication that I need to find a different career or stop flying altogether? A good pilot shouldn't be nervous, right? Input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I believe there's a medical term for this...called vaginitis. The good news: there's probably an OTC topical ointment readily available.

Honestly, not sure why you feel this way, but my advice would be to fly more often! It will probably pass.
