I agree --- I think the media's daily trumpeting of all things negative is having a large impact on consumer/investor confidence and magnifying the current recession/drop in the stock market by at least 50% ~ maybe more.
The economy/market won't recover until confidence recovers.
...and that's why Economics is taught as a "social science", not a "hard science".
