Can you BP-10 while on furlough? I'm listing/activating and it won't give me the option. Just puts me as a 08A. I don't want to be charged to sit in first, but obviously don't mind sitting there.

From what I have experienced, you list as a BP8A, but when you check-in (either at the kiosk or online), you are given the option to convert to BP10 status. There is no way that I know of to list BP10.
Since economy is free (I believe it still is for furloughees), you will not need the option unless one of your segments is listed in business or first. And if you accept BP10 status, it converts all of your legs to BP10.
(You may not even be given the option if all of your legs are listed in economy.)
