Don't just be a "line pilot." You need to get into the training department. In order to do that...be sharp...prepared...and very motivated. Impress your instructors and be a great FO. Captains and LCA will notice. Have a great attitude and put the same amount of work into upgrading. The training department will notice...become an instructor, check airman, and get into standards. Usually if you do one you do them all at the regional.

FedEx knows what type of pilot they are getting out of the military and what type of training they have been through. You need to show them that you have gone above and beyond being a "line pilot."
