Our MEC released the "official" 5/4 Day Off Arbitration ruling via PDF to our emails. Although it is a "cease and desist" order, the arbitrator makes it clear that there will be
financial penalties if the company tries these shananigans again...
I found it interesting that the arbitrator kinda "lectured" the company and the union in his ruling about the pitfalls of having vague language in a contract. He leaves you the impression that this whole arbitration should have never happened IF we had stronger, clearer, precise contractual language. Lesson learned maybe??
