I'm retired Navy with plenty of PIC time in P-3 and T-34. Currently at American Eagle and ready to move on after getting my feet wet at a Regional.

when I met the Airtran guys at a job fair, they said they did not want you to add any conversion factor to your military time. When I filled out my online app, I listed "PIC" time as all time I had signed as the aircraft commander for the flight (whether solo or in a crew plane), and I listed "captain" time as all PIC time on a crew plane only.
