Went looking for .45 ACP rounds out in good ole' Portland Oregon the other day and 3 stores later I still didn't have any.
The first store (VERY large sporting goods store) had 3 boxes of pistol ammo left. 1 box .40 gold dot and 2 boxes of .38 special. Said people were buying like it was the end of the world. In 10 years he had never seen it as bad as it is now.

Just goes to show that you should load your own.
