Over the summer, I got my commercial SES in a Cub in Vermont. It only cost $1100 (including examiners fee). It took just over 4 hours of training. Plus, the area was full of airline pilots who spent their time off restoring amazing aircraft including numerous Cubs, a Waco, and a Streaman. Welcome to ScootAir LLC Hero's Aviation - Poly Fiber, Ceconite, Randolph and more.

Checkout both links. Both of them know each other and have access to the same aircraft and instructors. It was a great experience and I am going back this summer because the flying is cheap, the people are great, and it is a lot of fun.
