It's simple. PDT pilot group is much much more senior then ours. hence the resistance. It's not about jets or props (althought I only speak for myself). That is why PSA pilots are against it and PDT are mostly for it. What is the average longevity of a PDT CA? Those folks stand to take a $30/hr pay raise, ofcoarse they're for it. In our case half the captains would be downgraded. NOW why are we talking about a merger anyways? That was spawn by TK retiring. It's not an indication of managment reduction in efforts to consolidate, he is going to MI for kayaking (thats what the email said anyways). And I agree PDT folks are pretty cool in all of my experiences. Cheers dashgirl
