So, down in CLT right now for CQ and here is what hey buddy said. Take it for what it is worth.
We staff 4 pilots per seat so 8 per aircraft. With 11 aircraft leaving, expect to furlough around 88 pilots. Of course that number can change but at least there is a guesstimate. A new perm bid should be finalized by mid next week. Also, the initial furlough will be around 20 for May. Also, no base closings in the near future (I don't believe that part). I asked them to put out a worse case scenario so we can prepare but who knows.
By the way, the ground test was pretty easy.
