All this talk of a merger is a waste of typing. There will be no merger of PDT and PSA. US Airways wants as many different pilot groups flying for them as they can. As everyone knows, unity is power against the company. A strike by a combined PDT/PSA pilot group would cripple US Airways more than just a PSA or PDT strike alone.

ALPA sees the impact that a united PDT and PSA can make on our upcoming contract negotiations. They are putting significant resources into the effort. It is important that we all work together to achieve a fair contract that we all so desperately deserve.
