As pilots we all need to grow some b_lls and just say no ! This profession was made great by pilots telling managemant to stick it where the sun doesn't shine. We are all in this position by not standing up against the machine. Alpa has no balls and it flows down hill. The last few Midwest guys on the property should walk..........Republic guys should refuse all Midwest flights. (Sick time). Something would change..........Or at least it would get some press time. This profession will continue to go South if we let it.
That sounds great. However, until the NMB acutally gives some leverage to labor by releasing at least one airline to strike nothing is going to change. How can we affect change when the only option is to get fired? So let say RAH pilots took the high road and refused the Midwest flying. They get fired. Thanks for thaking the high road guys, good luck getting another job. Which airline interview panel will hire a pilot who refused to work without being backed by the contract or union? Essentially what you are asking is for some pilots to sacrafice their carrers for other pilots. Noble, but is it worth merely a pat on the back?

Instead of blaming one another we need to put more effort in drafting stronger language in our CBA's and get the unions working on congress to reverse the favortism of the NMB.
