According to the NTSB press conference, the f/o arrives in LEX at 2 am on Saturday. (26.5 hours before show time) and the captain arrived in LEX around 3:30 pm on Saturday. This wasn't their scheduled trip, and it wasn't flown like you can see in the bid packet.

But what REALLY gets me is the guy in the first post saying the people were alive after the impact- and then burned. How does he know??? The Coroner initally said this might be true, but had to take those statements back when he started conducting autopsies, and he found out he was wrong. The autopsies revealed most probably died immediately from impact.

To state without any knowledge whatsoever that these poor people suffered is rude, insensitive, and really uncalled for. It causes extreme stress in family members and loved ones to hear this- AND IT ISN'T TRUE. So unless you are the guy conducting the autopsies, KEEP YOUR TRAP SHUT.

Don't spread the fire of what the paper and the news said- we all know that is mostly speculation and drama enhanced to keep the ratings up.

Think about your fellow pilots that may have known these guys, may have flown that piece of metal, and any of us who might have been affected by this. I don't know anyone involved, but we all need to look out for each other.
