I'm no expert, but I know there are limits on both seats and weight. 76 seats and 86,000 lbs are the upper limits, I think. I'm sure there are carve outs for other things, but those are the general limits.

1.B.40.d of the JCBA limits them to 76 seats and 86,000 MGTOW except for the 36 Compass aircraft that are allowed to 89,000.
As someone else pointed out there is no issue unless they attempt to operate increase GW acft on the DAL code. Per what was communicated here the intent "appears" to be that RAH will modify all E175 to the new weight.
Unless DALPA grants relief or these aircraft are carved out for the gross weight increase they can no longer be operated on the DAL code.
