It works better than you think. You just have to know how to use it properly. Don't neglect the gain when it's a very moist or dry atmosphere. Paint the ground through the TS or go around. At cruise tilt down till 1/3 of the range paints ground. Normal radar stuff. The dish size and power is limited but it's much better than a GA T-props radar and much better than a strike finder. As good as a large business jet radar, unless it's doppler.
