I've applied for this job the last two times it opened up and have never made it past the initial application screening down in OKC.

Speaking with the heads of the Flight Check depts. in OKC and SMF, I was left with the impression it was due to no prior MIL experience to score my app higher with the "veteran's preference."

One guy said after several conversations, "You're exactly the kind of guy we'd love to have on board, but to be honest I haven't interviewed a civilian in over ten years since their applications are never forwarded to me."
