Please explain how picking up open time does not hurt furloughees. To me, its obvious: every hour picked up in open time is an hour not flown by a reserve pilot. As open time pick-up increases, the need to increase pilot staffing decreases. Could you show me the error of my ways?

I will fault someone, FO or CA - unless you can show me the error of my ways, that is. If I'm in the wrong, I'm man enough to admit it.

I am willing to bet that those who comment negatively against others who even suggest such a thing are two-timers and would do it with a slight chuckle if the time came to where the option afforded them..
I will take that bet. Care to go 'double or nothing' on whether I reduced my flying below guarantee?
