No that is preposterous. Regional do not care about TT other than to get the guy with the most amount of time in that particular pilot market. Most are hiring former furloughed, which are the highest risk. If you don't have any pro experience it will probably take you at least one or two years to get an airline job because it's going to go in the order of furloughed, pt135 then street guys. Gojet is the only jet airline that is actively hiring in the country, think about that. That means that there are thousands of street guys, thousands of furloughed guys, and thousands of pt135/91 charter/corp guys looking for the 50-100 spots left. Unless you know someone or are furloughed your chances of being called are slim.
