The FBO I work at has a 135 charter operation. Mostly citations but they have a cirrus for charter, which I think would be a little bit too pricey but I might run it by the chief pilot tomorrow. I was thinking of using our flight school 210 which would have worked out great, $300 for the whole thing would have still left me with something and something for the company but since its gotta be 135 and the 210 isin't on the 135 cert to my knowledge I guess my only option is the cirrus. F172Driver - Don't give up! A single pilot/single aircraft part 135 certificate, especially for just local sightseeing tours, is not that hard to get and not very complicated. I seriously suggest, even if it's just for the education, go down to your local FSDO, ask to speak with an inspector versed in part 135 and ask them about it. They should have a complete package they can give you and they will help you through the process, if after review it's still something you want to do.
