Those SWA buggers love to fly slow at altitude and fast at low altitude. I always had to slow from about .87 to .76 when in trail with a SWA 737 to which sometimes I thought was a citation in disguise. So practiced my slow flying techniques on final in my 727. I
LUVED flying at minimum approach speed from about 10 to 15 miles out with a SWA on my tail, provided no other traffic was in the pattern. And remember you should never taxi at a speed greater than a brisk walking pace... especially with a SWA on your tail... afterall you don't want to be rear ended by a tailgater if you should have to come to a sudden stop

Alas those good old days are gone. Now I am on the -800... no more .87 cruise and higher approach speeds too.
