A lot of the improvements in working conditions we have made at PSA are a result of hard work by guys who are now on the top 40 of the list.

If you think things are bad at PSA now, you should have been here 20 years ago.

To insinuate that the senior guys are not committed to improving our working conditions is wrong and counter productive.

My question to you is: Are you ready to fix it or burn it down?

That is the only kind of resolve that will get you a better contract.
I disagree. For example, I flew with a Captain who is in the top 20 last week. He was with me because he had picked the trip up in open time (while we have pilots on furlough). He had no interest in what we are fighting for. All he cared about was his SDO pay. He also, in so many words, indicated that he would cross the line if we ever struck. This seems to be a common attitude of those at the top of the list.
