With the exception of the top 40 on the list, I feel that the majority of us have a common goal to improve our schedules and quality of life. We must stick together and fight to secure our future.
Tex is that you? You never struck me as a Union Man being from the Republic of Texas and all. Why the turn around from your union bashing rhetoric? Picking up open time is a PSA pilot's right. You want to make management happy, don't ever pick up any open time and you instead are helping them dole out Continous Duty over nights to reserve pilots who are going to do it for no extra pay and never make over 72 hours pay for the month. We put our open time rules in the contract for a reason.. to reward pilots who want to go work a little extra and to help pay our bills. Again, if you can convince all pilots not to pick up open time, you'd be management's hero for the month.. hell for all time I guess.
