65-70% of the FOs have 13 or fewer days off a month, so QOL sucks. Average pay for a 4 day trip would be about 17 hours or so, so you work a lot more for a lot less pay. The management is a mess, but the line pilots are great (so far). I don't commute, so I will leave that to someone else, but from some of the folks I work with, it is tough. Many 6 day work blocks (4-2, 3-3 days) make it so that you pretty much have to get a crash pad. We are seriously short staffed, with no relief in sight, so junior assigning is rampant - I have been on line for 6 months and have had at least 20 calls, of which I answered 0.
