There is only one U.S. airline that cares if you have a type rating in any one particular type of aircraft...the rest will train the right candidate. A type-rating with no time in type or job lined up is practically worthless. That being said...I'd still take any free type you can get your hands on...just don't eff up the ride or you could do more harm than good.
