First, I'll say I like DS however, I don't think he is the right person at this critical junction for VC. Sounds like the ANC mafia simply wants "our guy" and it only matters that he is ANC based.
It has nothing to do with being based in ANC, but who is the best candidate. MEM has not produced any stellar performers under the DW watch so why go with his minions? Anyway, I am sure you will be seeing a public statement from DS in the near future. As far as did he think he would be displaced, well the posibiltiy was there. I am going to be and I never thought it would happen. Nothing to do with the ANC mafia, believe it or not we just have a crew force that gives a $h!) although that is probably going to change with all the memphites coming up here.
