I instructed and flew the 777 for 7 years and am now a captain on the A-320. The side stick is nice but overall the airbus isn't a pimple on a 777's rear end. The 777 is the nicest flying most honest airplane I've ever had the opportunity to fly. Most of the reasons have already been mentioned here.
