Havent you heard we are vastly expanding our operation flying the Q400 for 20% less than we make now. This is to replace the 50 seaters running all around the Delta system in MSP, DTW, ATL, JFK, SLC. When they build it the Q400X will be flown by us as well with 90-100 seats.
No, Honestly I have no idea. But if there was a move to fly the D-8 Q4 it would be cheapest to make us fly it out of the Delta owned carriers. We would fill all positions with 1-2 year seniority guys keeping the crew costs down. And best guess they would fill it with 76 seats like others airlines but make us take a $10 pay cut to do it($50 to $55 captain)...Afterall it is a Prop! :-P
The biggest ? would be scope on something like this. I now there is a limit to 76 seaters but is the scope limited to RJ's and is there a loophole to TP's? Someone else would have to answer that.
That is our general hiring mins, yet in may also be a mistake. There is no mention on our jobs page at Compassairline.com. Just the usual pilot listing for the pool.
In other words your guess is as good as ours!
