Our schedule was Mon-Sat as well, with a Sunday or two thrown in there. Trust me, you'll be penalizing yourself if you travel anywhere during training. Sit in the hotel buried in your books. You'll need all the study time you can get. Plus, they told us if we missed a day of class for any reason whatsoever (including not being able to get on a full airplane) we might as well just send our books in and pack it home.
