The old timers can correct me if I'm wrong but I believe United tried this once before (mid 1990's) and the ACLU among others sued. United finally dropped the policy when the PR issue because a real nightmare. Don't forget, we have a new cast of "managers" at UAL who probably were in business school at the time.
