Is the re qualification course a full 6 weeks deal or just the full sim? That seems like the other extreme. A few trainer lessons + warm up sim + ride would be plenty.
You shouldn't have to do indoc again, thats what about a week and a half? Probably a short systems class, then off to the sim. I personally wouldn't mind a few extra sessions since I was in the plane for about a month before the furlough.
