I'm not well versed on the midwest/republic situation but I would think that if Midwest struck, then the routes for those nine 717's would be struck work and Republic pilots would refuse to do that flying. Maybe I'm being too optimistic, but I'd think republic guys wouldn't be interested in the appearance of crossing a picket line.
