Looking at the hourly rate is just part of the compensation package. Don't forget the Medical/401K/B plans/retirement, % matching and a number of other things that make up the pilots compensation.
Also remember work rules (below industry avg. @ JB) and retirement medical benefits (non-existant at JB). No, I take that back. We do have retirement medical benefits at JB....it's called Medicare.
