Don't just take one word for it. Do some more research. Anyone and their dog can post a yay/nay opinion. Get some back up for it. Why do they say yay/nay?

It could be the economy sucks right now and no regional jet carrier in the US is hiring, thus the time is essentially worthless if the goal is to be working as an airline pilot immediately after completing the course.

But, you could be from another country where if you are able to do the certification, you have a career available immediately after graduation.
