Hey This is a bit old but I just got on here again. I Was at Kent Spring'04-Spring'08 for B.S. Aeronautics (Aeronautical Studies) and Instructed for 9 months my senior year.

I'd say if you are going to double major, then go for a Buisness degree along with Aero. Studies. Too many people get gummed up in Flight Tech. since the Flight classes are mandatory in that and they almost never get finished on time due to Mx, Wx, and plane avalability. With Aero. Study it's just elective credits for the flight courses.

I'm an on the fencer about majoring in something else. If you do get a flying job and work for like 20 years, I'm not sure I would remeber anything I took in school while I was also trying to get my ratings, and work, and have any life.

A Buisness degree would give you a leg up both in Interviews and if you stop being a pilot. But I taught some Other Major kids and man they were not focused. Cost them a lot of time and money. It's a personal call.

I will Highly stress you plan on Staying over the summer to fly. Yea wahh wahh But home. Seriously. Almost no one is there to steal your plane, the weather is great, and Summer and Intersession is a great way to kill some of the crappier genneral electives (what's that, world politics in 3 weeks? Sweet!)

As for Express, I knew some people who interned there. Unless you go to Houston you don't get sim time and you just push paper. But up untill last summer you were basicaly hired if you did an Internship. But even before I left last spring that was falling apart. I say go for the Goodyear or Parker internships, They actualy let you fly.
