I gathered the quote: Cuban filmmaker Mayra Vilasís [says] "it’s easier for a woman to become an airline pilot than a film director."

This may be true in Cuba, but in the U.S., is this true? I have not been through the hiring process myself but do you consider aviation an easy profession to get into compared with men?
