I just got some info from someone not as high up as ACL talks to that said we have 1 used MD90 in VCV that will be stored until summer 2010. We have bought two more but are letting the airline we bought them from operate them until summer 2010. When they do come on line, they will park an 88 for every 90 we get. So they probably won't need to staff any additional 90's on an AE this year.
What we do with the 88's when we get the 90's depends on what happens the next few quarters. Also, route management want to use one 90 for two RJ's. We will see if they get their wish. Flight Ops is saying one for one currently, but the guys that decide what flies where want something different.
As for what we are going to need staffing wise. No furloughs are planned, but over staffing mitigation techniques are being worked out.
