I'd keep your DC's original. I did this mod and wish I hadn't. Yes they reduce the noise but its not that great. I also got feedback while I was using them sometimes. The loud, piercing, squealing sound that causes hearing loss and PAIN. I probably wired it wrong.
Thanks for your input, I kinda thought that the kit price was a bit overpriced for what it is, but I definatly dont want to put up with unexpected squeal for sure...Listening to a stuck mike on freq is bad enough
