Question -- What is VMC? Answer = "yes"
Now add this keen sense of understanding to a person with absolutely no
aptitude for flying and you'll have the majority of the students I had.
Now add something dangerous to the situation by doing single eng. approaches. The student is stepping on the dead eng. and your turning towards it also joining the localizer. The plane is side slipping like a b*&%$ and the student is adding power to keep up speed. I'm thinking were bout to Vmc and I ask the student to fix the problems. You hear 'yes' and 'yes' and 'yes' till you have to take the controls every time to resurrect the situation. This kind of situation happened with a foreign student(It could happen with any type of student).
