To continue in this fray, aren't you contradicting yourself in your post, which I edited for brevity? I would like to say that Commercial pilots are always looking to improve themselves. Find me a pilot who has not PROVEN the ability to get where he/she is, through training, whether or not they have a degree. Not saying a degree is not a good thing, but do NOT discount the time and effort that good people have put in to get where they are today.
