Not enough! Not enough guys retiring soon enough anywhere. All due respect to the older guys on this site, but age 65 was the worst thing that could have happen to the industry, and to the other 93% of pilots that were not due to retire at the time when it passed. Nothing like increasing the overhead at the airlines while screwing the majority of it's work force.
What overhead? A 65 year old pilot flying a 777 is being paid the same as a 45 year old pilot (assuming he has been around for 12 years). You may state that the older pilot prevents you from advancing, but the monetary argument is simply not true.
