Just got this from the 108 LEC newsletter. Apparently, it was adopted at the March MEC meeting in MEM.

WHEREAS The Delta Pilots who are premerger Northwest Pilots enjoy a different commuting policy "Call in Honest", from the premerger Delta pilots, and

WHEREAS the premerger Northwest policy is clearly a superior policy, and

WHEREAS The Delta MEC would like Delta Management to adopt the premerger Northwest "Call in Honest" policy for all pilots.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Delta MEC directs the MEC Chairman to engage Delta management and secure the premerger Northwest "Call in Honest" policy as the policy for all pilots going forward.

Now I do have to wonder, if this happened at the March MEC meeting, why am I just hearing about this in May (no I wasn't able to make the most recent meeting).
