During the normal course of conversation the discussion went to the chip detector light on a previous flight with the CA. The FO asked what a chip detec was and the CA went on to explain it. I'm very surprised that a pilot with her experience in truboprop aircraft would not be familiar with chip detectors. Am I reading that part of the transcript correctly?
