You are correct sir stupid arguments do cause me a great deal of stress. He's arguing we should give this guy a pass because he was under stress and did not know what he was doing. Clearly this guy was just a self centered douche who endangered the lives of his fellow passengers because his briefcase was just too important to leave behind. I'm pretty sure the F/A's were pretty clear in their instructions as evidenced by everyone else leaving their stuff behind.
