I have strong feelings that the biggest threat we face on the next 5-10 years is fatigue/optimization (certainly related, maybe the same thing?). Our union MUST take a strong stand on fatigue issues.

Did you notice the fatigue issue in today's news concerning the Buffalo crash (it seems the f/o caught a j/s in from the west coast before beginning her trip, she was living with her parents because she was only earning $16,000/yr)?

Update: It seems the f/o took the FedEx redeye SEA-MEM-EWR to get to work ... she also had a second job at a copy shop (I expect for extra income?).
