My concerns:
1. If/when we get new airplanes (say they're Mesa's 900's)... There pilots would come with it and blend into our seniority list, so if we were to furlough again down the road, the junior guys at PSA would be first to go...
2. And also if USAPA wins the lawsuit on the scope over "large RJ's"... we at PSA could lose these 900's and therefore lose our pilots that have put in a few years here and already avoided a furlough...
I understand how great it would be for ALPA but honestly i would hate to see the PSA guys/gals that have survived and been recalled to end up further down on the list, never see the right seat and in the worst case lose there jobs again or be at an even bigger risk of doing so if things went bad again...
Why does it seem like everyone is OK with the thought of MESA integrating into PSA's list? Personally I don't care if they are on the PSA list but they should be stapled to the bottom. It would not be a merger so PSA wouldn't even HAVE to take them. Why should the bottom PSA guys be punished for NOT going to MESA. I would rather not get the jets than have to sit below MESA guys.
This really is a moot point however because I don't see it happening anyway.
