My wife got hit on once in at the gate area by a bunch of Trans-States guys going through training. The boldest of them was chatting her up for a while, and finally proudly announced they were all "airline pilots". She was very impressed, and mentioned her husband was an F-15 instructor pilot in the Guard and also flew at FedEx. She told me later she could hear the balloon deflating...

Me...I had two jobs. As a F-15 guy, I was "...a heavy equipment operator for the goverment" (given to me by a superior UPT classmate who died of cancer in his 20s...) As a FedEx pilot, I'm "...in the shipping business..." I'm not out there hitting on gals these days, but when performing wingman duty (it still happens) out there these seem to quiet down any further questions.
