Last six hires out of Colgan in the past 60 days (that I'm aware of - there have been more):

1352 hours Turboprop PIC - SWA
1800 hours Turboprop PIC - SWA
2200 hours Turboprop PIC - SWA
1890 hours Turboprop PIC - UPS
1650 hours Turboprop PIC - CAL

None had jet time, all had between 3500 and 4500 hours TT. Yes the SWA guys had the type. UPS guy had a good contact there. We've had guys recently go to NorthAmerican, JetBlue, Gemini, NetJets, among others. Colgan HR has told me we are on pace to lose 35 to 40 captains this year to majors (about 30% of our captain's roster are the beginning of the year) plus several others to fractionals.

The above speaks for itself. Whether the regional flys jets or turboprops should be one of your least concerns when choosing a regional to work for.
